Earning Master certification requires 32-48 hours of total time.

• Preparing for a Master Certification exam requires 24-40 hours of study depending on your familiarity with the Efficiency First® Framework principles and best practices covered. Dedicating 3-4 hours per week to study over a period of 8-10 weeks is recommended to enforce retention of the knowledge gained while completing the required reading and exercises outlined in the exam preparation study guide.
• Dedicate an additional 8 hours to prepare your case study / project and to obtain 3 reference letters.

All Specialist, Professional, and Master Certifications are valid for 24 months from the credentials issue date.

• Complete a 75-question online exam in 90 minutes or less and achieve a score of ≥80%.
• Submit 3 reference letters attesting to your experience and contributions to Telecom, Mobility & Cloud / IT Management Center of Excellence strategy and strategy execution (2 reference letters from peers; 1 reference letter from your supervisor, manager, or a senior leader).
• Submit 1 case study that demonstrates your knowledge of Efficiency First® Framework principles as they apply to Telecom, Mobility & Cloud / IT Management Center of Excellence strategy or strategy execution. The case study must contain and clearly articulate the business problem identified, the strategy implemented, your role in the solution implemented, and the results achieved.

All Specialist, Professional, and Master Certification credentials listed as available for purchase are renewable. If your certification is not listed as available for purchase, review the retired certifications list. Note that individuals holding certifications earned or renewed prior to the retirement date will remain active until the credentials expire.
